Terms of Service

  • Payment via PayPal in full upfront (or half upfront half after agreeing on a sketch)

  • I may reject any commission inquiries for any reason

  • My commissions require good communication with my client in either German or English

  • It would be preferable if the client can provide a visual reference and a rough idea / moodboard

  • I'll do revisions up to two times during the sketch stage for free, I won't do any revisions past agreeing on a final sketch

  • Additional revisions (past the 2 free ones) cost 10% of the total agreed price

  • If I made a mistake due to not paying attention I'll fix it for free in any stage (but please tell me as soon as possible for a higher quality product)

  • If I made a mistake because you, the client, failed to provide clear references I won't fix it past the 2 sketch revisions

  • All commissions will be posted to the public. Inquire about licensing private commissions

  • Rush fees are roughly +50%. Ask me in your initial request if I'm available for finishing your piece on a certain date

  • General turnaround is 1-2 months. Feel free to ask about my progress at any time

  • If a client fails to communicate with me for 30+ days I'll cancel the commission and keep the money

  • I may use rejected sketches / thumbnails for future works, including commissions, commercial or personal work

  • Adoptable / Character Design Rules

  • You may change the design

  • You may resell for more than bought for

  • You may use the design (not the art itself) for commercial purposes including merch creation

  • You must credit me for the original design and art

  • You may not turn an original creature design into a species (closed or open) with the intend to sell similar designs. You may only do so for worldbuilding reasons and without making similar designs commercially available

  • Holds require a down payment of at least 10% which will not be refunded

  • Payment plans can be discussed for designs over 100€

  • I do not have public nsfw art, however you're free to ask about nsfw commissions. This is a very case by case thing for me but I won't judge!

For commissions:
If you have a concrete idea please be as precise as possible! This includes but is not limited to sending me medium - short lore & written descriptions, a rough sketch of what you had in mind, a song or quote as inspiration or artwork from myself if you prefer a certain direction.

Refunds

  • The client may cancel their commission during the sketch phase to receive a 50% refund. Any cancellation after the sketch phase will not result in a refund

  • If I have to cancel the commission due to any problems on my behalf I'll provide a 100% refund

  • If I have to cancel the commission due to bad communication in any way (this includes but is not limited to: not replying for 30+ days, insults, stalking) I won't give any refunds.

I won't draw

  • Humanoid characters

  • Heavy mecha

  • Architecture

  • Hateful / rightwing content

  • Anything else: ask if unsure, I'll tell you beforehand

(non) commercial use

  • I retain the commercial rights to all artwork I create for you, the client

  • The client is allowed to use their artwork in a personal non profit way only (personal prints for themselves or as a gift, upload to their gallery, use as icon/header etc.) unless agreed otherwise

  • Generally I'll retain the right to offer merchandise like prints or stickers of commissioned artwork, however I will always ask you first before printing something and you're free to decline when initially asked

  • Inquire about commercial licenses when sending your initial commission request, commercial use will affect the price

  • A commercial license can be bought after the work is finished too, they'll usually be for 1 - 3 years. I only offer commercial ownership on a case by case basis, but licenses for a limited time can be purchased at any time, even years later

  • I do not do NFT art.

  • I do not support AI art, it is forbidden to feed my art to any kind of AI / data set used for AI training

Creature & Character DesignCreatures and fantasy animals are my speciality, below you can find an assortment of various designs for clients, projects or just myself I've done in the past.My character design rates are always case by case but usually 150$ - 300$ for private use. If you'd like to permanently purchase a design for commercial purposes there will be an additional fee which I will discuss with you in advance.
I can work with written descriptions, images, moodboards, redesigns or even complete artistic liberty.Rendered illustrations, reference sheets and sketch explorations raise the price but can be purchased after the initial design is done.Please note that any photography included on sketch sheets is not mine. I'm only trying to showcase my work process and uploading these images exactly what they look like while I'm in the designing process. I'm currently working on finding a better solution to this.

Dungeons & Dragons - personal designsI like to play unusual d&d races and have been leaning heavily into homebrewing my own races lately. Below you can see a monster I designed for a monkey based oneshot I've written & dm'd, a quick design of my partys draft ponies and my current played characters of two different campaigns:
Simi the Chimaera (lunar sorcerer) & Soup the "Kobold" (talisman warlock). I also play a divination wizard Illithid & an eldritch warlock who's a cat (not a tabaxi) in a homebrew setting. My "official" dnd knowledge is limited as I've only been playing (and dm'ing) homebrew campaigns and oneshots but I'm very interested in dnd lore, other peoples campaigns and characters. Would love to work on more dnd related art and designs!

Prices

These are starting prices to give you a rough idea, I will always quote the exact price case by case. Complex characters (detailed markings, wings, long fur/hair etc), complex composition / poses, complex character interactions etc will cost more. Feel free to inquire about a quote anytime.If you don't have a concrete idea you can also just give me your budget and some vague information about the character (background story, any special powers / abilities, their themes & inspiration) / a moodboard or song as inspiration and I'll work from there with you. I will start with sending you a couple (usually 2 - 3) thumbnails (very rough sketches) to figure out a composition & theme that works for you.If your character is not fleshed out (yet) I'd suggest you choose a simple background or the Artistic Liberty option.

Artistic Liberty

Starting at 50€Great if you love surprises! Simply tell me your budget, send me your character reference(s) (including optional moodboards, background story etc.) and I'll go from there. Different artstyles (like colored sketches, experimental pieces etc.) can also be bought via this option if you tell me beforehand.This is not the option for you if you have something specific in mind. You can not choose a background or how much of your character is visible in this option.
Your budget determines how much time I can spend on your commission (a 50€ commission will be less detailed than a 100€ commission).This commission type includes no discussion over thumbnails and only a single final sketch (minor changes like expression are accepted in this stage) is sent for approval. No major changes (like pose, composition, themes of the artwork) will be done. If you're not satisfied with the sketch you may cancel the commission at this stage for a 50% refund.A full day of work (8h) is available starting at 180€. Contact me for more information. This option makes sense for bigger projects or as a flatrate for various small pieces with a much shorter wait time.
